1. If you just look a little closer, you’re able to see what’s really there.

2. I’ve got my fall palette of nail polishes all selected and ready to wear!  My new favorite is Very Structured by essie!

3. One more week, and my friend of 22 and a half years will be married!

4. Movie recommendation:  The Lincoln Lawyer

5. You can never have too many clay pigeons.

6. Communication works best if it’s both ways.

7. THE WINDOWS ARE OPEN! It’s cool outside!

8. The guy that lives in the apartment below me should remember to turn off his alarm when he goes home on the weekends…

5. I feel the need for a sweater-vest… anyone?

6. Understatement: Dog poop and I do not get along.

7. *Nah nah nah NAH!* I now own all seven seasons of The Golden Girls on DVD!

8. I’m a sucker for a good sale.

August 21 – August 27

1. I’ve done it; I’ve hopped on the Nutella bandwagon.

2. Yay for this wonderful new quilting shop: Nancy’s Trunk!  Excellent prices and great customer service!

3. I’m in the market for one of those beaded necklace-y glasses holder things.  Anyone got any leads?

4. “I got a job!  Sha na na na sha na na na na!”

5. This year before I went to the fair I remembered to take Meclizine!

6. Obligation is a dirty mistress.

7. I learned this week that bright colors like red, orange, and yellow can make people anxious.  This leads me to believe there could be a connection with this and the fact that most fast food signs contain these colors….

8. I feel like making something out of old sheet music.

9. I am now the proud owner of my very own Guy Harvey shirt!  I got this one in white!

August 14 – August 20

1. I am now the proud owner of my very own bright orange hunting vest!  Those pheasant are going down!

2. In my world, organization yields productivity.

3. If you’re ever in Oklahoma City and find yourself hungry, I highly recommend Bedlam Bar-B-Q!

4. Monkey see, monkey do.

5. I think this is the most hilariously inappropriate commercial I’ve ever seen in my life.

6. Don’t bother watching Limitless – it just really isn’t anything exciting.

7. Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream, merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, life is pots of beans!

8. Sometimes you’ve just got to stop and realize that people see in you only what they want.

1. I’ve decided that I’m smarter than a third grader, but not smarter than a fifth grader.

2. If there was ever a doubt that lying down in the grass was a bad idea, it has since been eliminated.  I was in the grass for five seconds, and I broke out and was itchy almost immediately!

3. You just gotta love a good piece of string cheese!

4. I am on a Colbie Caillat kick!!  I just love her newest CD All Of You!!

5. Yay for new designs on the Puffs boxes!

6. It’s official: apparently I’m ”really good at bookshelves”.

7. There will only be one original Dirty Dancing.  Ever.

8. I just realized that this will be my last year for back-to-school shopping for myself.  Ever.

9. I thought really hard, but I couldn’t come up with another point that followed suit with the last two.  Ever.
